Senseless

(2008) ***1/2

Elliot Gast, an aspiring CEO is kidnapped and tortured by political extremists. They publicly air his torture via live streaming online. The ultra violent reality show becomes a real hit and the money is pouring in. As ratings sour any hope Elliot had for being released rapidly fades. His only chance for survival is escape but he'll have to pull off the impossible to do it.

The cringe factor in this film is excruciating. It's like watching an hour and a half of torture similar to the ear removal scene in “Reservoir Dogs.” The gore is very realistic which aided in the cringing for me as well. A pretty good find considering I had never heard of this film. If you can handle the gore it's worth the time.

How do you claim your money airing your illegal torture activities and not get caught? I swear I'm not asking for me...
