The ultimate ego trip

From worstpreviews, During the Banff World Television Festival, actor William Shatner accepted a lifetime achievement award and has also spoke about his next project, entitled "The Captains."

The TV documentary will be directed by Shatner and will focus on his early life and rise to fame on "Star Trek." The actor said that it will be a lesson in "what not to do."

The movie will also look at other "Star Trek" captains and will begin filming next month. It will air in Canada on Movie Central next December.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with the legendary William Shatner to produce a unique and never-before-seen view of his life," said Movie Central.

Meanwhile, Shatner is still worth $600 million from his Priceline.com deal.

600 million? I thought Priceline was all about finding deals.

I think an early-career doc about Shatner would be fun to watch. But I don't care what Scott Bakula is up to.
