Jabba's ridiculous new door

A bunch of TIE Fighters added for the final ROTJ battle (wait until end of video):

Wicket now blinks

Those all seem pretty pointless. The door just brings up boring logistical questions, like why the droid eye would be located way over to the side of the door (my assumption that's in the middle originally could be wrong) or whether they had to alter anything on the other side of the door to match it. But then I think "Did they improve at all on the silly B'omarr Monk puppet? Because otherwise, why bother?"

I've watched the TIE fighter scene twice and honestly I can't see the difference, at least not from memory. I didn't see those two TIE fighters that are mistakenly visible in front of the Falcon even though they're way in the background (and therefore way out of scale), but I assume that was fixed in an earlier go-round.

And I gotta say, something about Wicket's blink just didn't ring true. I don't feel confident saying that ILM doesn't know how to do that, but maybe you just can't add features like that to a fixed furry mask and have it look real. It seems to me that a little more of his face muscles should move.

And most of all I'm just knocked over that this process keeps on happening. Change after change after change of some of the greatest cinema of all time. Meanwhile the prequels aren't touched because they're already "perfect."

(Right? Or is he fucking with the prequels, too?)
