Turns Out Those 'Back to the Future II' Shoes Are for Only Our Richest, Most Charitable Nerds

From iwatchstuff, Well, I hope you weren't counting on picking up a pair of those Back to the Future II self-tying shoes. For one thing, you would look like a jackass in them. For another thing, turns out they don't even actually tie themselves. Also: Nike only had their child slaves make 150 of them, and they're being auctioned off on eBay to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, thus driving the price per pair well into the thousands. At least you can watch this video about them, starring Christopher Lloyd, Bill Hader, and Kevin Durant

That was worth my two and a half minutes but it's depressing seeing Christopher Lloyd actually old. But I guess he's still rocking it.
