I'm, like, totally famous

Oh, not really. But if you click here you can see the video by The Junior Varsity for their song The Sky, for which I made a couple of props. Not my cup of tea, musically, but they're okay and they're big fans of stop motion. I didn't make the guy or those picture frames, but I made the various household appliances you see here and that big wonky window.

Wow, great stuff! Nice wonky window. It's reminding me of other examples of the great tradition of wonky windows, including Spy vs. Spy panels and Filmation-style 1960s Warner cartoons.

Really looks good.

Man I've always been in awe of your talent. I just hope someday you'll make me something to put on my desk.

Hint, hint.

Hint hint hint.

Frankly I'm underwhelmed. And I never heard the phrase "wonky window" before but it makes me blush for some reason.

Kidding about the underwhelmed thing. That's awesome Octo. I'm so happy to see you doing what you love. And the pictures look fantastic though I can't watch the video 'till I get home.

Also, I don't think it's fair that JPX gets to have a desk prop and I don't...

After racking my brain I've decided that The Junior Varsity is the stupidest name for a band I've ever heard. I can't even fathom a lamer name.

The Paperclips?

the stove is my favorite. what kind of moving parts does everything have?

and are you going to cast molds of any of these so we can see them up close?

Beautiful.
"Wonky Window" would be a much better name for a band.

In answer to I'mnotMarc's question:

Uh, none. And no.

Actually I guess the faucets turn, but the props were all one-offs and made of materials that don't take to molds too well. But, if you come visit me in LA while I'm still working there, the TV and the oven are on display in the shop.
