From worstpreviews, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson told MTV News that he was in discussions to play both Captain Marvel and the villainous Black Adam in the upcoming superhero flick "Shazam." For help to decide which part he should take, he's calling on fans of the character to chime in with their picks. "It's up to the fans," said The Rock.
In the movie, young Billy Batson finds himself gifted with the power of the wizard Shazam to fight against the forces of evil. With the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the stamina of Atlas, the power of Zeus, the courage of Achilles and speed of Mercury, he is the holder of the power of S.H.A.Z.A.M; he is Captain Marvel.
The film is set to be directed by Peter Segal, the man behind "Tommy Boy" and "Anger Management."
