Salem's Lot 1979 and Salem's Lot 2024
Happy Halloween everybody! Julie's working late and the boy doesn't have school tomorrow so he's heading to one of those crazy f...

(2007) * First of all let me say that as far as I could tell there are absolutely no dead teenagers in this entire film. Every year just ...

Wow, I'm shocked you felt this negatively about The Descent! I think it's the best horror film since The Ring. The clausterphobic first half and the monster second half made for the perfect combination for me. I can't wait to see what JSP has to say about it, but I have my prediction...
I can't wait to see what I have to say about it too!
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, welcome aboard, Running Freak! JSP has been torturing you for years with our Horrorthon silliness so it's nice to have you join in. What you should do is distract JSP as much as possible so he watches less films. I think he told me today he wanted to get into running...
Wilkommen, Running Freak! That's a great moniker. I too liked this movie a lot more than you did, but I also think getting different perspectives on the docket is an excellent way for Horrorthon to be. Yay, Running Freak!
I'm kind of glad I wasn't the only one who did not think this movie was great. Felt like I went out on a limb there after Octo and jpx commented on how much they liked it.
Not that I need everyone's approval or anything! No, really, I don't.
Great to see your first post, Running Freak! Interesting gender split on this movie so far. And DCD, I too am a little nervous about posting dissenting/unpopular opinions, but as Octo indicates, it does make Horrorthon more fun and interesting.
Don't ever be afraid to write opposing views, that's what it's all about. It's especially interesting to read the female perspective on some of this stuff. For example, women seem to like The Descent a lot less for some reason. Your mood won't likely improve when I tell you that The De2cent is currently being made.
