The demure British female voice saying "thank goodness for Ayds" at the end is hilarious.
I wonder if the product lasted until the more well-known AIDS. That must've been a bad day in the office. "There's a new what?" "They're calling it WHAT?"
I do believe AIDS caused the inevitable demise of Ayds. They tried remarketing the chocolate treats under a new name (which slips my mind) but the damage was already done.
