Jaleel 'Urkel' White Accused Of Beating Baby Mama
From yourtango, Jaleel White, aka Urkel from the (inexplicably) long-running sitcom Family Matters, has been accused of battery by his former girlfriend/baby mama Bridget Hardy.
Bridget claims that two weeks ago, while she and Jaleel were driving with their infant daughter in the car, Jaleel punched her in one of her breast implants. Then she claims that they continued arguing after arriving home, where Jaleel "slapped her, and pushed her into a toilet so hard it broke the tank."
Although she reported no injuries from the alleged fight, Bridget filed a report with the LAPD on Tuesday and the "family matter" is being investigated. We can't help but wonder if Jaleel used his famous catchphrase, "Did I do that?" when the cops showed up to question him about the incident. Are Apologies Enough After Domestic Abuse?
According to Jaleel's rep, Jaleel didn't do that. He told TMZ, "There was absolutely no battery...no abuse...and the incident never happened. This is just a ploy in an ongoing custody battle over their young daughter to tarnish his name."
Tarnish his name? This guy does realize that he represents Urkel, right??
OK, so Urkel may have been a TV dork but we're hoping that his portrayer isn't a real-life jerk. And we find it hard to believe that he would be. You know, it seems a little shady that Bridget could have been pushed with such force into a hard surface like a toilet without sustaining any injuries or bruises...but we'll hold our judgment until the investigation is over.
