From worstpreiews, The Daily Mail is reporting that Marvel will try to cast Emily Blunt (The Devil Wears Prada) for the third time, after the actress declined offers to play the Black Widow in "Iron Man 2" and Peggy Carter in "Captain America: The First Avengers."
The studio is now in talks with Blunt to star as a villain in the third "Iron Man" film. The paper said: "They are desperate to have Emily as the villain in the next 'Iron Man' film and will continue to have Gwyneth [Paltrow] playing Pepper, though she wont feature in 'The Avengers'."
This all comes from problems between Paltrow and Scarlett Johansson on the set of "Iron Man." Apparently Paltrow wasn't happy that Johansson was getting more attention than her, which is why studio bosses split the two actresses up by bringing one back for "Iron Man 3" and putting the other one into "The Avengers."
