Razzies!


The 29th Annual Razzie Awards have just announced this year's nominees for the worst films of 2008 and it was a bumper year it seems.

Some inclusions seem undeserved, notably the likes of "Speed Racer" and "Rambo" which don't compare to some of the true atrocities on this list.

Others though like "Disaster Movie," "The Hottie & The Nottie," "In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale" and "The Love Guru" are totally justified.

My vote is for The Love Guru, which is one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life.

Wow, those look like some amazingly well deserved noms. I remember the first time I became aware that there was such a movie as "The Hottie and the Nottie." It's bad luck just knowing that's out there.

Gotta say, JPX, 4 Christmases and now Love Guru...I think you need to speak with someone about better time management.

Speed Racer got totally screwed. I don't mean everyone should have gone out and seen it, necessarily, but low box does not always equal crap movie.

I don't understand the Stallone hate. Rambo was exactly what it should've been, a balls-to-the-wall violent action flick, I loved it.
