So what better way to kick off 2009 than to confirm what’s been buzzing in the rumor mill for some time: The Dead will be touring for the first time in more than four years, with nearly twenty shows spread across a month from mid-April through mid-May! You must be very excited to have another concert to not attend AC.

I'd love to catch the Dead in San Francisco but I imagine tickets would be tough to get. And say what you will but I'm actually much more excited about the return of Phish.

even better, johnny gretchenpants, i have two concerts to not attend! the dead are playing two nights in lovely downtown worcester ma. if they are sufficiently kickass, i'll fail to attend their concert the following weekend in lovely downtown hartford connecticut.

yay cat and whirly! glad i'll have some blog-sister company for the show(s).

I first heard of Phish when a friend of mine told a story about being hassled by security at a "fish show." At least that's what I thought he was saying, since I'd never heard of them. I wondered why security at a fish show would be so bitchy when the crowd was probably like one at a flower show or something.

Not being a fan of either band, I'd probably have a better time at a fish show.
