Jaws 5, uh, I mean MEG to shoot soon

From Bloodydisgusting, "It was announced this past week that New Line Cinema's giant shark movie MEG will be shooting for a Summer 2007 release. The story features a 80-foot-long prehistoric shark -- scientifically known as Carcharodon megalodon and believed by some to be an ancestor of the great white shark -- which terrorizes the California coast. Two men from opposite points of view are forced to come together to neutralize the threat. Also announced was a February 9th release for Touchstone Pictures' recently announced Primeval, which stars Dominic Purcell (Prison Break). The high-stakes adventure follows a news producer, reporter and cameraman who are dispatched to South Africa to track down and bring home alive a legendary 25-foot crocodile known as Gustave. However, their quarry proves far more elusive and deadly than they anticipated, and their situation turns even more perilous when a feared warlord targets them for death. Lastly, Walt Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean 3 will open on May 25, 2007. The film has just entered post-production."

Has anyone ever seen The Deep or ORCA? Is either one worth checking out?

I saw The Deep at a drive-in with my parents. I can't remember enough to answer your question.
