From TVsquad, "Hayes didn't quit South Park, says Fox News reporterRoger Friedman of Fox News finds it hard to believe Isaac Hayes quit South Park because he was offended by its episode making fun of Scientology. In this article, he provides a few pieces of evidence: a snippet from an Onion A.V. Club interview where Hayes glibly talks about the episode, saying he didn't mind, and the fact that Friedman himself saw Hayes play "Salty Chocolate Balls" during a concert that happened after the episode aired.
Then he drops a mini-bombshell: Hayes was not in the hospital for exhaustion in January; in fact, he suffered a mild stroke from which he is still recovering. Friedman speculates that Hayes is too busy recovering to worry about South Park right now, and that the press release stating he was quitting was done without his permission. Maybe a missive from Scientology Central? I'm pretty sure we'll find out soon enough."

Well anything that Fox News says can't be wrong.
This guy's "evidence" would still back up the notion of the Scientologists telling Hayes to quit after the episode aired the first time.
