Man, I haven't even been on line for half an hour and I'm sick of seeing those two. This comes from the liner notes of the Lost Highway soundtrack. Ahh, Patricia Arquette. Did I mention I have a thing for Patricia Arquette?
I was going to say "I believe I did!" and hyperlink "I did!" to my Stigmata review from the Horrorthon, but that was two thousand four's contest. Dammit.
Well, I do.

She's one of those actresses that looks good in certain shots but somewhat bizarre in other shots/angles/lighting.
Yup. She was gorgeous in that. I'm a huge fan of the Lost Highway soundtrack, it has aged nicely. That collection of songs is one of Trent Rezner's great achievements. Red Bats With Teeth turns into a complete mind fuck by the end of the song. Ah, there it is. I'm playing it now. Incidentally, I'm treating myself to a sick day today (NEVER felt better!!!) and I'm fully expecting to have a triumphant, awe inspiring leisurely day at home. But getting back to the soundtrack, it's one of the very few soundtracks that surpasses being a mere collection of songs.
I normally don't care for Marilyn Manson but both of his songs pack a wallop. And I LOVE Lou Reed's Magic Moment.
Marilyn Manson's cover of I've Put a Spell On You is my favorite, and it has nothing to do with the fact that the scene which it plays over is Patricia taking off her clothes with a gun to her head. Except replace "nothing" with "everything."
