From AICN, But before I get some sleep, I had to post this bit of news about Terry Zwigoff's next project, a comedy at New Line called THE $40,000 MAN about a legendary astronaut who is in a bad accident and is rebuilt by the government as a bionic man... albeit rebuilt on a helluva budget. I'm sure I've seen this type of situation used as a sketch before (I'm thinking it was something about a Five Million Peso Man... or something similar), but it's Terry Zwigoff working again with Dan Clowes.
I've loved all of Zwigoff's movies, from GHOST WORLD through ART SCHOOL CONFIDENTIAL. Despite the word of much studio interference, I think BAD SANTA is a modern day classic, one of the absolutely funniest movies I've seen in the last 5 years. So, good luck to Mr. Zwigoff and Mr. Clowes as they do their rewrite on Johnathan Goldstein and John Frances Daley's script!

That's some pretty intense artwork of Steve Austin donning a Santa Claus suit.
Or I should say, "Steve Austin donning a Santa Claus suit...
WHILE THE ROCKET TAKES OFF!"
Ha ha! That's hilarious, man! I have Steve Austin, Oscar Goldman, and Big Foot dolls.
