A special message from Gretchen

Greetings. For those of you who don’t know me, the name is Gretchen and I am the undisputed Goddess of Horrorthon. It’s nice to see some new blood in addition to the familiar faces in this year’s competition. The action begins tonight at midnight so I trust everyone has their movie tickets purchased, their DVD players plugged in and their IPods loaded up with the most excessively violent, vomit-inducing films available. Let’s have a good, clean competition, ok folks? Better yet, let’s have an unholy, hate-filled, wretched month of darkness and discontent!

Let the games… begin!

ipods...ipods...ipods!

I've been sitting here racking my brain trying to figure out how jpx crams so many movies into his time between patients. It's so simple. Patient X laying on the couch blathering on about how her mom lost her at the mall one time as a kid, jpx going "Hmm....interesting..." while keeping one eye on The Ring 2 on his ipod, strategically placed on one knee behind the desk.

Brilliant.

All of that is accurate except the Ring 2 part. Yucky lame!

Sorry Julie & JPX but Gretchen insisted that I bump her to the top so that she has the final word before Horrorthon '08 and I can only do what she tells me to...

Gretchen looks great with all that blood.

I have no problem with being bumped down. Gretchen is the star of the show, after all.

That's quite a manly outfit on Gretchen.

Nobody ever said that Gretchen was a woman...or a man...

JPX, you have to find that picture of Shotgun. She could give Gretchen some competition.

Johnny Sweatpants said...

Who/what is Shotgun? And competition in what way?

anyone starting a movie tonight at 12:01am?

Landshark said...

Yep! Trying to decide what to watch right now.

Awesome avatar, landshark! Oh yeah, I'm staring at a 75 dvd stack of horror movies - I've been Netflixing and copying all year. What to watch, what to watch...

I doubt I will start tonight. I was at the hotel from midnight Sun to 12:30am Monday night. And was working 21 out of those 241/2 hours.

Sorry - whining. Plus, I know there is no real excuse for waiting on Horrorthon!

DKC said...

Damn. Avatar is too small.

JPX said...

We all make sacrifices, DCD! Cool avatar but a bit small.

DKC said...

Let's try this.

yay, 55 minutes to go!

happy viewing everybody (of course by "happy" i mean bloody, scary, and repulsive)!

La-La-La.

jpx, I'm embarrassed to admit that I found only 2 straight up horror movies in my stack of 500 flicks. Wtf was I thinking? It's like I have false memory syndrome--I could have sworn I'd burned more than that.

Gonna have to hit the library/vid store tomorrow.

Landshark, it's only in more recent years that I've stockpiled horror movies. I would suggest picking this up for a good cheap supply, http://www.amazon.com/Horror-Classics-Movie-Pack-Collection/dp/B0001HAGTM/ref=pd_cp_d_1?pf_rd_p=413864101&pf_rd_s=center-41&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000H5U68O&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0W26Z2M5PVEQ5S55FHXG
