What say you all to a book version of our favorite monthlong viewing/reviewing fest? June would seem like a perfect month to dust off some fun pulpy Stephen King paperbacks and head to the beach. Obviously, the numbers won't rival the film version, but I think some folks could get up towards 6-10 novels, more if we include longer short stories/novellas.
Could be fun. And I'd love to read the reviews.

Oddly enough, I just picked up Stephen King's newest book yesterday!
I like the idea. I can be a real slacker when it comes to reading sometimes so it would be good for me personally.
Reading is for losers!
Sounds like an interesting idea to me. I've never read Stephen King, or anything of this genre. It would be a good excuse for me to do so.
I know, whirlygirl, you just read stupid stuff like Shakespeare!
this one i could win. i'm not saying i will, just that i could.
Maybe we can get Jordan out of retirement for it.
I've been under the impression that Jordan has been abducted by aliens.
True, ac would easily win a readathon.
I'm in, I have some making up to do for this pathetic Horrorthon!
The good news? Even if someone else in the fam ends up in the hospital for 1 1/2 months...fuck it, I can read at the hospital!
Shark, can we branch off? Do other horror writers?
Other writers, miko? Meaning other than the four I randomly threw in the pic above? Sure! I don't know the genre really well, but Blatty, Harris, Straub come to mind.
Maybe someone wants to tackle the Gothic movement in 19th century British novels.
