Shutter (American Style)
(2008)*½
A newlywed couple is haunted by the ghostly image of a woman who continues to appear in their pictures. They begin to investigate thinking it may be the ghost of a girl they believe they may have hit with their car, although a body was never found. The truth is far more scandalous and damaging to their relationship than they ever imagined.
To echo JPX & Whirly’s reviews, this is just another crappy remake of a nice J-horror flick. The bottom line here is that it just wasn’t scary. You really don’t care about the characters at all; I didn’t even feel sympathetic towards them in the least.
The ghost just sucks, totally not freaky in the least bit. This film was crap.
