(1985) **½

A germ warfare lab disguised as an agricultural research lab has an accidental contamination leak. Security agent Joanie Morse, the local sheriff's wife completely locks down the facility following the security protocol. The government containment team arrives and finds out that the anti-toxin is not working. It appears that all the workers in the P4 lab where the contamination began are all dead on the floor. In a panic, some of the workers that are trapped inside bust into the security room and forcefully coerce Joanie into giving them the unlock code. The code doesn't work, seems the government has overridden it. After some time the government workers viewing the internal cameras see that the thought dead P4 techs have gone missing. They are spotted milling about covered in sores. The virus has made them into rage driven crazies. They are turning on their fellow workers and killing off anyone who gets near them. Joanie, who seems to be the only one who is not getting sick contacts her husband Cal via cb radio and tells him to find Dr.Dan Fairchild, a former Biotek scientist who was creating the anti-toxin. Fairchild & Cal must go in and create a working anti-virus before it's too late.


Mildly cheesy but not too bad overall. Maybe it's the collection of better than b-movie actors that makes this more enjoyable. Dr.Nielsen, the creator of the virus makes a great crazy guy. There's just something ever so charming about a lunatic in a lab coat. Not a big deal if you miss this one but not a total waste of time either.
