Two friends set out on a year-long tour abroad. Their trip is interrupted after Derek has a one night stand that goes wrong. He starts to transform into something more dark and sinister as the days pass.
This is a documentary style film is shot handheld. It starts off pretty promising and admittedly stays interesting but the handheld camera proves to be too much. The action scenes are basically close shots and blurs. It becomes frustrating and difficult for the eye to follow. Still I gave it three stars because I really didn't hate the film, I just wasn't a big fan of the way it was shot.

I saw this one outside of Horrorthon season last year and loved it! Yes, there is a lot of shaky cam, especially during the final act. I'm glad you're going through these found footage films, Cat!
Interesting. Aggressive shaky cam can be a killer for me...
Sorry you didn't enjoy the shaky cam but glad you saw it!
Shaky cam is to

Ugh..the shaky cam!
I saw a preview of this that piqued my curiosity. Not my kinda film and excessive shaky cam drives me mental but it does add a sense of realism.
