From Beyond

(1986) ***1/2

One of my favorite Lovecraft movies, besides Dagon, stars the funny Jeffrey Combs.
Its a story about a couple of scientists who make a machine that reaches a parallel universe, and release weird creatures. I can appreciate the funny looking creatures, being 1986 and all :)
Of course nothing could go wrong with the machine!Come sit on my face, baby!
Also starring Barbara Crampton who plays a doctor, this movie is full of action, a nosy neighbor with a little yappy dog, and kickass Ken Foree!
No amount of Excedrin could fix this splitting headache..

I haven't watched this in so long, need to revisit it soon.

Considering the mastery of Re-Animator and Dagon, this is a funny in-between kind of movie. By which I mean in between good and bad.

Mostly good, though.

2018  ***1/2 It's 1986 for some reason, and a team of paranormal investigators are making a big name for themselves all over Scotland. ...
