Zack has been into doing lion roars lately, so we bagged the triceratops costume we got him and picked up this one. He hasn't yet understood that he is a lion when he's wearing it. As a matter of fact, he hates putting it on at first, but then he gets used to it. Now we just have to get him to say "raaooow."

oops - that was me, not desroc...
Ben's first costume was Winnie the Pooh. Zack's first costume rocks! You should totally take him trick or treating and grab his candy, that's what I did!
He looks great. Also, the headline "Oh my GOD it's a LION!!" has been cracking me up all evening, every time I scroll past it.
Anyone remember an old original-cast Saturday Night Live sketch called "The Hominids," with Steve Martin? He plays an evolutionary freak amongst cavemen -- the only caveman in a hunting group who's smart -- and he plays him as totally modern Steve Martin while the rest of the cast are all doing conventional cavemen routines.
At one point everyone leaves and Martin says, "I guess I'll just do some drawing, here," and starts drawing a picture of a bison on the cave wall. When Larraine Newman arrives, he conversationally asks, "So, what do you think of this here bison, anyway?" Newman screams in terror, "A BISON! A BISON!" and Martin has to calm her down, saying, "No, no, relax...it's just the image of a bison." She kind of gets it, but keeps eyeing the cave drawing warily. It's hilarious, and Octopunk's headline keeps reminding me of that sketch.
Also, "A lion is eating my foot off..." Anybody get that old TV reference?
Wow! Now that is what I call cute. I would almost feel bad scaring him.
He's the most adorable lion I've ever seen!
