Homebodies

(1974) ***1/2

Old people are so cute, and fast too! Well, in this movie, they are. This movie is about 6 elderly people who are being forced out of their building that's going to be condemned. After trying to explain to a lady why they can't leave(memories, too long to unpack, blind man not knowing the new area), they decide to get rid of her. This comical part is great due to the main old biddy, Mattie, having to drive the lady's car somewhere else.

They got shipped off to the new building anyway...

They sneak back into their old building after being put into their new one and try to keep people away from their home. There is a second murder involving the new building owner which is pretty creative in another comical sense. This is definitely a must see for the funny parts!Hey! Its Minnie Castevet from Rosemary's Baby!

I love this movie, those biddies sure do move fast.

Can old men be considered biddies? I kind of thought of that as an old lady term only.

I've been meaning to track this movie down since my very first Horrorthon. It's elusive.

if all the oldsters get sent to the same jail, they should start their own gang. they could use everyone's inherent trust of old people to whack the leaders of all of the other prison gangs.
