Spider

(2003) ***

Spider is another film that got misrepresented by Netflix. This film was described as an “unsettling psychological thriller.” It’s actually a drama that includes an unexpected murder and the fall out resulting from that murder. Ralph Fiennes plays a mentally disturbed man who moves into a boarding house filled with some rough characters. The events at the house cause him to mentally slip back into his past, reliving key events from his childhood. It’s a pretty good flick but I don’t want to waste a bunch of time writing about it since it really isn't a horror.

Humph. I bet there aren't even any spiders in this movie.

Nope, it's just referring to the string webs he builds all over his room.
