We follow 3 main story lines loosely tied together and a 4th involving Sam the sack head. The 1st involves a school principal, the 2nd is about the adventures of some mischievous children and the 3rd involves some girls dressed in fairytale costumes.
The film skips around alot making it a little difficult to follow but not to the point of annoyance. I loved the characters, all of them. It's a very fun film as JPX stated in his fantastic review earlier this month. There's not much not to like here, so why not 4 or 5 stars? It's just not scary, fun but not scary.

50 and I watched this the other night. You're right, it's not strictly scary, but I was having too much fun too notice.
