This beautifully acted and evocative American remake of the 2008 Swedish film "Let the Right One In" won me over despite my initial skepticism; while maintaining much of the overall plot and feel of the original, "Let Me In" succeeds in its own right.

I'm so glad to hear that it's good. I know landshark liked it last year, but he had not seen the original at the time. This is in my queue for this year and I look forward to comparing the two.
