(2005)*
Mobsters meet a man to purchase one of the last canisters of the poison gas that turns corpses into zombies as was supposedly used in all the previous "...of the Living Dead" films. Before handing over the cash though, they figure it would be a good idea to try it out on a corpse first. Hey, it didn't work on the first corpse, better try it on another. Hmmm, still nothing, let's try it on two or three more. Oh no, it turns out that it just takes about two minutes for the gas to start working, now there are five zombies around yelling brains killing us. Damn, why did we bring five zombies to life when there are only three of us!?!
Somehow, after everyone dies, the man's teenage nephew gets ahold of the cannister, who then hands it over to his stoner/raver/sklled lab worker friends who distill the gas into a drug, which they start selling and plan to have everyone try at the big rave coming up this weekend!
Doesn't this guy look a lot like Ryan from "The Office"?
This movie is the reason I don't watch films on the syfy channel. Syfy represents a cinematic level one rung beneath "straight to video". This movie isn't really bad as much as it's just boring. There's nothing here. A lot of filler with vanilla zombies and stoned teens too self-involved to realize that their friends green skin and dried vomit is something to be concerned with. I must make a vow right now - for the remainder of Horrorthon, No More moview from Syfy!!! Having said that, I have their remake of Children of the Corn waiting on the dvr.

trevor, i make that vow every year, but never stick to it. :(
Just remember the bad ones make the good ones looks even better.
Trevor's kicking ass! I think syfy should be boycotted for their ridiculous renaming of their channel. I mean, what the hell?
This could very well be the worst franchise in horror history. The first one was fun enough what with the girl running around naked the entire movie but all of the others have been tragically awful.
