Fear(s) of the Dark (Peur(s) du Noir)

(2007) *** 1/2

As I’m sure you remember Landshark covered this earlier in the month, and since I hate writing summaries, I’m just going to skip it. Also, as Landshark already mentioned, the film is composed of four narrative stories and two expository exercises. I enjoyed three out of the four narratives. My favorites were the first one (a guy who becomes a nesting place for the procreation of oversized insects) and last one (a man breaks into a house and soon discovers that it is haunted).

Those were my favorite stories as well.

Hmmm, all reviews that you guys have posted on this lead me to believe that this is a mixed bag at best. Nice way to avoid summarizing the plots, Whirly!

I'm realizing I'm going to have to watch this soon, whether I can squeeze it into October or not. For the insect story if nothing else (I've seen the final one).
