The Horror Show

(1989) ***

As you can see, a little similar to the movie Shocker. Its a very entertaining movie starring Lance Henriksen as a detective and his family being stalked by a murderer played by Brion James. After the electrocution, Lance has nightmares and visions of the guy, and hears his annoying snickering which makes him think he's going insane. I'd go crazy hearing that annoying laugh too..

The movie is action packed with Lance tumbling down the stairs a few times, helped by stunt coordinator Kane Hodder! Yay! It also has a talking turkey with the killers face in it! Yum! Whats interesting is that a professor is trying to help him based on his theory of "electric evil" or something like that. The whole time Lance ignores him and pushes him away until the ending when he's in deep doo-doo and uses the professor's help to save his family.

Wow, somebody made a knockoff of Shocker? Way to scrape the bottom of the barrel, Abby!

Actually, that's more like hitting the barrel's bottom, finding nothing left, then tipping the barrel over and digging around in the dirt underneath it.

Wow, nice find! I never heard of this and I'm a Lance Henricksen junkie.

I, very oddly, feel like I may have seen this movie. Something about that turkey is familiar!

Wow, what a nifty find from the 8os! Just when I think I've seen ever 80s horror movie along comes one more.

I agree, ripping off Shocker is not a big selling point.

After looking at the killer's face for about 5 minutes it finally occurred to me who he is! Brion James played the cop in Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park! He's the one that falsely accused The Demon of destroying the theme park (when in actuality it was a robot Gene).

Shocker sucked ass but I like the idea of a guy coming back from the electric chair.

Fallen was about a bad guy who comes back from the electric chair and is a pretty decent movie.

"The movie is action packed with Lance tumbling down the stairs a few times, helped by stunt coordinator Kane Hodder!"

makes me wonder whether Gerald Ford ever worked with a stunt coordinator prior to his action-packed presidency.
