The Brotherhood of Satan

(1971) ***3/4

Despite some of the cheesy acting, the plot is interesting. The first few minutes got me hooked, seeing a little boy playing with a toy tank that turns into a real tank crushing cars with people in them. Then when it's done, it turns back into a toy and the boy picks it up. A family drives to this town that is run by crazy people and its found out that the senior citizens make a Satanic coven to exchange their souls with children. It has a few death scenes that are cool besides the tank. A toy knight on a horse turns into a real one and beheads someone. I really like the ending..finally the Satanists win!Eat my gingerbread man cookies!!

I couldn't recall this film when you first mentioned it to me, but after reading your review I realized I reviewed this in a past Horrorthon.
